FBRMPO reviews and scores the applications through a process established in its adopted Coordinated Public Transportation – Human Services Transportation Plan (CPT-HSTP), to select projects for funding.
Click here to see the application format used in the past. The initial project application consists of the program-specific requirements detailed in this package of forms and instructions. After a project application has been selected for funding, the applicant will be required to submit appropriate background Certifications and Assurances, and other documentation necessary to meet the requirements of the FTA’s Urbanized Area Formula Grant Program (Section 5307 program under Title 1, United States Code). Job Access Reverse Commute (JARC) Program
The goal of the JARC program is to improve access to transportation services to employment and employment related activities for welfare recipients and eligible low-income individuals and to transport residents of urbanized areas and non-urbanized areas to suburban employment opportunities. New Freedom Program
The New Freedom formula grant program aims to provide additional tools to overcome existing barriers facing Americans with disabilities seeking integration into the work force and full participation in society and reduce barriers to transportation services and expand the transportation mobility options available to people with disabilities beyond the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).
