A February 2017 Appalachian Regional Commission handout summarizes recent investments by ARC in North Carolina to support economic and community development.

Two additional Buncombe County Functional Classification changes were approved by the FBRMPO Board in February 2017: Hazel Mill Road and Victoria Road/Hospital Drive. This is an addendum to the Functional Classification changes approved by the FBRMPO Board (June 2016): see Table of proposed changes (June 2016), maps of Buncombe County changes (June 2016) and maps of Haywood County changes (June 2016).
